My long-time friend Joe Collado writes Latin Jazz with a Puerto Rican flavor. He's released several albums over the last few years, and the Latin Jazz community has really showed up to support him, with numerous media features and accolades.
This last year he approached me to help him build this latest single he's releasing, called Sunday Morning Salsa. Joe plays all Latin percussion and Joe's son Jojo is on flute – Jojo's a protege of Miami jazz flute luminary Nestor Torres.
Excellent mix and master by Galo Rivera.
anyway I think you will really enjoy this lighthearted, happy tune with some serious tumbau and yours truly holdin' down the 'teclas'. (teclas = piano)
