Today is a really special birthday for me… I have so much to be thankful for, including all my amazing Facebook friends and the amazing platforms that allow us all to connect to each other’s lives. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time out to acknowledge our friendship.
In honor of myself having survived this long π I am going to be giving back today here on the Facebook… in the form of my musical art. Some of you know me as a software developer and others know me as a musician. Whatever I do, I am constantly creating my art in the background.
Let’s start with some of my roots and one of my original “claims to fame” lol – this song which I wrote for our original band Tymepiece with Ronald Scott and Randy Lynch and eventually was picked up by Motown producer Paul Riser and released on Noel Pointer’s big jazz/soul crossover album ‘Feel It’ on United Artists records.
The track was recorded in New York/LA by session royalty Will Lee, Eddie Bongo Brown, Quentin Dennard, Hiram Bullock, Richard Tee, Michael Boddicker, plus a full orchestra — and was the ‘most-requested’ song on WJZZ radio (Detroit) for that year.
Enjoy – more to come π
