Here is one of my favorite tracks by Roy Ayers Ubiquity, featuring the amazing bass talent of Byron Miller (who was also mentioned in our interview with Lamont Johnson). The bass is featured prominently with a nice phaser and you can hear all of Miller’s Motown-inspired turnarounds very clearly.
