I have always been a huge Science Fiction fan, from Azimov's Foundation Trilogy and L'Engle's A Wrinkle In Time , to having seen Kubrick's 2001: A Space Oddyssey in first-run syndication in downtown Detroit in a theater decked out with Cinerama - still remembering the excitement over the original Planet of the Apes movie when it was first released... there was an intense level of excitement over these huge new releases in their day which has stayed with me -- my love for the genre has only grown with time.
Some of the films being produced these days are simply amazing in terms of the realism and issues treated - in this space I will publish my articles about science fiction, new movies, old movies and TV shows, classic science fiction literature and other sci-fi related topics.
